Second story from camp. So here’s the thing about this story – I did not anticipate that in telling this story to Jr. Hi’ers that the word “crack” would be so hilarious. Especially the word “crack” combined with any sort of article or pronoun such as “the crack” “my crack” “your crack” etc. Anyways, they did a pretty decent job of holding down their laughter.

TIP: Press play, then press pause right away, let it load, and then watch it.
Last week I taught a Jr High camp and every morning we had “story-time with Matt.” The story was meant to sort of set the tone for the day and reflect the theme of the day/week. This was the first story. There is a little wind and tree-rustling going on, but that’s just to make you feel like you were really there.
Special thanks to Brian Whiteside for videotaping.

I’m doing a camp next week on the beatitudes, which brought me back to this old video. I originally made for “the hill” (the college ministry I worked with in Wichita) in 2003. Jarrett Green and I took the pictures and the “models” are Daniel Green and Erich Wigdahl.

Okay, okay. So I’m linking instead of creating, but i promise there will be some new original videos soon.
You might have seen this before, but I just wanted to point out my favorite parts:
1. The way that the kids react as soon as Mr. T stops talking to them.
2. The women and their “sexy dancing.”
3. Is Mr. T a “never-nude“?
4. Whoever made this was serious.

A wilderness area that I like, the Roan Plateau, is potentially being opened up for oil drilling. Not cool.
